The Context
Before
His last birth, the future Buddha lived in the world of Devatas, in the
fourth of six spheres that make up the world of devas (the sixth being
the highest, and the first lowest). Over the sphere is "high" comfort is
more intense and life is longer.
Devatas from the fourth sphere, has a life period of around four thousand deva years long, which corresponds to 576 million human.
The future Buddha radiated a virtue so pure and was shown a noble behavior than other deva understood without doubt he was the next Buddha.

In the region of Majjhimadesa (north-eastern Indian subcontinent), in the kingdom of Kapilavatthu, there lived a king named Sudoddhana, and his wife Sirímahámáyá.

Having learned of the birth of this child, the hermit Asita, adviser and friend of King Sudoddhana, went to the palace to worship him. and the eight astrologers Brahmins.Five days after the birth of His son, the king appealed to eight very famous astrologers Brahmins to read the hand signs of the Prince. After a careful examination of the young baby's hands, the seven most ancient astrologers agreed to say:"One of two things: if the child continues to live a worldly existence, it will be a very powerful king, dominating the whole of humanity, if the child lives the life of renunciation, he will become a fully lighted up Buddha. "
The youngest of astrologers, meanwhile, sees only one possibility:
"This Child is the future Buddha."
The king was shocked by these predictions. He did not like at all the idea that his son could live a life of renunciation.
Only the prospect of seeing him play as the most powerful kings could meet.
After long thought, he decided to confine his son in the palace, ensuring that it remains untouched by any outside contact, thus preventing it from meeting the circumstances leading to his renunciation of powerful sovereign life.Here is when the king Sudoddhana performs the ceremony marking the beginning of plowing (known in Cambodia under the name "Preah Chrot nomgkâl" or Feast of the (three) Sacred Grooves)

Abandoned by His master, the horse Kataoka died of grief .Here is when Gautama led for six years - to reach enlightenment and following the advice of the Five ascetics and despiting the protests of men and Devatas - a life of ascetic who drives him into a state of decrepitude and impotence.Here is when Gautama, who renounced the ascetic state

Gautama accepts the delicious offerings sent by the rich and beautiful Sujata
